So much has happened since my last post. We had a very fun weekend, just handling things around the house. I kept meaning to download our pictures from our Oregon trip from two weeks ago and also scrapbook a few, but alas.... something always seems to capture my attention and well... the list goes on. However, in the middle of all of this running, doing, and grumbling about not getting enough done, the Lord gently (and continuously) reminded me about this verse: I Thess. 5: 18 - In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. It was a powerful reminder that He already knew that I was going to have "Martha attitude", instead of a "Mary spirit". Thank you Lord. It is a comfort to know that God always reveals himself - in everything and in every way. We must just choose to "be still and know that He is God" Ps. 46:10; for one day I want to stand before my Saviour and hear " well done thou good and faithful servant" Mathew 25:21.

The Beginning

Hello,
this is my attempt to chronicle what God has, is, and will do in my life. This past year has been filled with many struggles, tears, laughter, and definately triumphs. I am grateful that God always provides. I am also grateful to the Lord that He blessed me with a wonderful sister-in-Christ, fellow labourer in the gospel, dear friend, and computer whiz extraordinaire, Casandra. She made this dream a reality (although I think it was because she got tired of hearing me whine :) ). Thank you Casieleigh.
I pray that the Lord will use this blog to draw you closer to Him and to renew your spirit. Soon I will post pictures of my dear husband, kids, and the many lessons and blessings that the Lord has provided. I covet your prayers as I go through the learning process and still attempt to bring glory to the Lord.
