Abundance of Things
So.. after having my AP cart for the last 2 weeks, I've finally taken it out and played with it - thanks to my very inquisitive 4yr daughter. She opened up the book and oohh'd and aawww'd over every single image she saw. It was refreshing seeing her reaction to something that I had already taken for granted in less than 2 weeks...Yikes!! She selected multiple key and butterfly images and was just so thrilled to have them all ready to paste to a piece of paper for her next project. I really love creating with her. I sometimes forget how much fun creating just to create can be. No trying out the newest trend, latest fad, or next big tool or technique... just creating for the fun of it. She reminded me that: "...take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of things which he possesseth." Luke 12:15
Thank you Lord, for reminding us of your Word, by lessons taught in seemingly obscure ways. Hopefully, I will post a few pics of something made today.

You will never regret it, and it's the small moments like this one that become huge memories later. You'll be surprised by the things you remember. God will redeem the time you give your daughter.
